Our Story

For more than 20 years, I was a hairstylist. Behind the chair I learned how to listen to people, take care of them, and make sure they left feeling better than when they came in.

Southern Twist grew out of that same heart. Moving from the salon to the kitchen wasn't a small step, and I've learned a lot along the way. Some lessons came easy and some didn't. Through all of it, my faith kept me going and I kept showing up.

Today, Southern Twist is a place where Barstow families and travelers passing through can sit down to a real soul-food meal and a warm welcome. I'm proud of what we're building, and I'm thankful for every person who comes through our door.

Pick a plan, choose the entrée and sides for every meal, and grab the whole week in one pickup. No standing at the stove after a long shift.

Order and pay online by Sunday at 11:59pm Pacific, then pick up the following Tuesday or Wednesday between 11am and 9pm at 1505 East Main Street. Priority Members ($1.99/month, billed separately from meals) get first access to each week's meal prep.
